The Group

Accelerating our sustainable development

ENGIE is a global energy player and a pioneer of the energy transition. We are striving to supply affordable and reliable energy. Our commitment is to be Net Zero Carbon by 2045. To this end, we aim to become a zero carbon energy champion. To achieve this, we have a unique vision of the market: an alliance between the molecule and the electron.

A unique position thanks to our integrated model

After refocusing on its core businesses and scaling back its international presence to 31 countries (compared to 70 in 2018), ENGIE is now moving into the second phase of its strategic plan.

With a simpler, more industrial focus, the Group is drawing on the strength of its integrated model to accelerate its growth within the energy transition. Our goal is to develop a balanced energy mix by drawing on the energy value chain:

  • Renewables platforms
  • Infrastructure to guarantee security of supply in Europe
  • A broad range of flexible production assets, which are key to managing the intermittent nature of electricity generation.
  • Decentralised energy infrastructures that we develop and operate to support our customers in their decarbonisation efforts.
  • Energy management to enhance ENGIE’s portfolio of activities, provide its clients with tailored risk and energy supply contract management services.

Each of these factors is important and enhances ENGIE’s value added

A confirmed commitment under our growth strategy

Employee shareholding at ENGIE

Employee shareholding allows a company to involve employees as stakeholders in its share capital. Employees thus become shareholders of the company. For the employees, it is an investment opportunity and a chance to participate in corporate life through another means.

Since 2022, the Group has been embarking on an ambitious, regular employee shareholding scheme - a Link every two years - in order to bolster your position within the Group’s share capital. The Link programme is an opportunity for you to become an ENGIE shareholder under preferential terms. Thanks to your mobilisation, the Group’s strategic plan has been transformed into tangible actions and significant progress has been made. Link is an opportunity to increase your involvement in the Group’s strategy whilst making you one of the drivers of transformation.
